All football coaches have to be approved through the Bearden Youth Sports Football Program on an annual basis and are background checked and certified through Heads Up Football.
** FOOTBALL IS A CONTACT SPORT AND INJURIES CAN RESULT IN THIS ACTIVITY.
BY SIGNING YOUR CHILD UP TO PARTICIPATE IN A FOOTBALL & CHEERLEADER PROGRAM
YOU ARE GIVING YOUR PERMISSION FOR YOUR CHILD TO PARTICIPATE
AND YOU AS THE PARENT OR GUARDIAN ASSUME THE RISK OF INJURY TO YOUR CHILD.

If you are interested in volunteering to coach please contact our commissioner. Coaching experience is a plus, but not a requirement to coach. You are welcome to volunteer whether you have a child participating in our league or not. All volunteers will be required to have a sit down interview with the BYSF, Inc Board and/or Commissioner, will have to pass a nationwide background check, and will require certification in the Heads Up Tackling program by USA Football.
